This winter a unique Swedish hotel once again will be opened for visitors

In the 26th time in a row a unique Icehotel in Sweden to open its doors to visitors this winter.

Located in the Swedish town of Jukkasjarvi, each year famous ice hotel presents an updated design, and themed rooms, each decorated in different styles.

This year will be represented 19 suites, which will become part of the ephemeral art project. Among them will be a room with a sculpture of an elephant of actual size from Scandinavian artist Anna Sophia Maa. This year, the walls of the hotel are 10 centimeters thicker than usual, and for the construction of Icehotel it would take about five tons of ice.

High-quality sleeping bags, fur capes, plaids, blankets and outerwear will help warm up guests at the ice hotel. In addition, for those visitors who do not wish to remain in the ice room for the night, there are "warm" rooms and guest houses, where they can spend the night and get warm.

The hotel management expects that Icehotel will take more than 100 weddings. Travelers from around the world want to stay in an ice hotel in the aurora borealis season: hotel offers a special warning, signaling when one of the most amazing natural phenomena begins.

On December 11 hotel will open its doors to visitors, and in spring it will disappear from the face of the earth, melted completely. It is reported that the minimum cost of a four-day stay in the famous Icehotel is 1,400 dollars. During the New Year holidays the hotel rate exceeds $1,700.
