The famous cooking magazine defined vegetarian capital of the world

Famous American culinary magazine Saveur named Berlin the "new vegetarian capital of the world."

Magazine from the New York notes that Berlin is the only city in the Western world, where the vegetarian cuisine has reached "complete culinary equality" with usual food.

The honorary title was deservedly awarded to the German capital, but in the magazine Berlin was described as "the most avant-garde culinary laboratory of Europe." Out of the total number of establishments magazine highlights such restaurants as the Lucky Leek in the trendy Prenzlauer Berg district, La Mano Verde and Cookies Cream in the district of Mitte.

"Thanks to such enthusiastic masters like chef at the La Mano Verde, the city became home to the most talented vegetarian cooks in the world," writes the magazine.
